This Friday, in cooperation with Gilt City and the James Beard Foundation I’ll be on a panel at Chelsea Market entitled – How to Take Your Foodie Dreams and Turn Them Into A Profitable Business.

The panel will take place from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Join me and several other panelists and gain an insight on how an idea turns into a business and then evolves into a successful company.

Liz Vaccariello, Editor-in-Chief of Every Day with Rachael Ray will moderate.

JBF LTD takes the idea of the pop-up restaurant further than it’s ever been taken before. Over the course of five weeks, we’re bringing together incredible chefs, celebrated authors, television personalities, and many other people and partners to create the most exciting pop-up food pavilion and restaurant New York has seen. The setting is a beautiful space in the dynamic Chelsea Market designed by celebrated architect James Biber.

As the name suggests, JBF LTD will be around for a limited time only—27 days of programming, to be exact. Starting April 12 we’ll be counting down those days until May 14 when it’s all over. Gone. Like it never happened. Finito.

I’m heading down to Florida this weekend. Have you heard me on the radio talking about my grandmother Anna and the MamaMancini’s recipe?

My first stop is Lakeland for the 2011 Arthritis Walk on Saturday May 7th. The walk starts at 9am and I’ll be there serving MamaMancini’s Meatballs to participants until the last person finishes the walk!  I hope to see out there for this great cause!

Then I’m heading to Naples, on Monday May 9th, tasting number one on my mini Publix Tour. Tuesday and Wednesday I’ll be hosting more MamaMancini’s tastings at two Orlando Publix locations. I’ll be at each location from 11am-3pm.

April 29th | Kings Kitchen | Short Hills, NJ | Childrens Cooking Demo

I spent a delightful afternoon on Friday sharing recipes with children and adults. Kings in Short Hills, NJ has a wonderful kitchen. Thank you to Julie Bannon and her team for welcoming MamaMancini’s.

While I shared stories of my childhood, we cooked up meatball pizzas, meatball subs and the classic meatballs and pasta. Some of our young fans already have very distinctive tastes! Michael loved making a super cheesy pizza, Caitlin added equal parts cheese and meatball slices while Gideon placed large equally placed meatball slices with a sprinkle of cheese.

We also handed out a MamaMancini’s word search and jumble for the kids. Click the image above to print for your children.

We’re launching our turkey meatballs at the Kings Short Hills  location in NJ! We’re having a great kids cooking class this Friday from 3pm – 6pm, stop by and check out these delicious new meatballs.

To celebrate the arrival of MamaMancini’s all-natural turkey meatballs, Celebrity Chef Daniel Mancini will lead a hands-on demo cooking class for kids on how to have fun with turkey meatballs by making subs, sliders & pizza. Kings Supermarket in Short Hills, NJ.

Despite the imminent blizzard, MamaMancini’s fans packed Above Restaurant last night to celebrate the launch of our first MamaMancini’s Kitchen Hot Bar!

It was a fun night complete with lots of MamaMancini’s Meatballs! Beef Meatballs, Turkey Meatballs and event goers sampled our Arabbiata (Angry) Meatballs.
