“Hi Dan,
We just discovered your Meatballs and Sunday Sauce. WOW! I always like people who “step up to the plate” and go into business with a great idea and a good gut feeling. My story: I’m from just outside of Phila originally. My parents, at one time, lived next to the Raffeo family who owned a small market and Mrs. Raffeo taught my mom and dad how to make Sunday spaghetti. (I still cook it about once a year and I still love serving it) Nobody understands how much work and passion go into it unless they’ve done it. I came here to Georgia in 1995 and and purchased two radio stations. I don’t know much about the food business, but I do a good job of eating everyday! One of my local advertisers, a supermarket owner, mentioned your product to me the other night when we were grocery shopping. I am so glad to discover it. Your food is now on my “Hit List”.
Keep up the good work Dan and continued success to you and yours.”

March 29th, 2010Meatballs are a Staple in Our Freezer!
March 15th, 2010“Dan,
We met at Eden Gourmet in South Orange, NJ a week after your show on Martha. We bought a package of your meatballs in sauce that day and they are a staple in our freezer. I won’t ever bother to make meatballs because these are so good and taste like homemade. The sauce is fantastic. Turned a couple of friends on by serving them at dinner and they too are buying them at Eden . Keep up the great work – and the best of luck to you in “foodture” endeavors!!!”

Overwhelmed by the Down-Home Consistency, Taste and Authenticity
March 15th, 2010“Dear Daniel,
Saw the product on Martha Stewart. Ordered the same day. I was overwhelmed by the down-home consistency, taste and authenticity of the sauce and meatballs. Truly a great product!! I have already served to guests who have raved and asked for your website.
Please keep up the quality of the product and you will make a MILLION!!!! Better than anything I could ever make.”
Thanks again!

The Meatballs Seem Exactly Like My Mother Used to Make
March 15th, 2010“Dear Mr. Mancini,
While viewing the episode of “Martha” on which you demonstrated how to make your meatballs, you said that you also make old fashioned eggplant parmigiana and stuffed artichokes. The meatballs seemed exactly like my mother used to make. My mom passed away recently and I am longing to taste her food again. Your recipes seem to be very close to hers, which of course, she never wrote down.
I would appreciate very much if you could send me some other standard traditional Italian specialty recipes such as the eggplant, artichokes, chicken, etc. If you have a cookbook of such recipes, please instruct me on how I can purchase a copy.”
Thank you,

So Excited For Your Grandmother’s Meatball Recipe
March 15th, 2010“Hi Daniel:
I watched your segment with Martha Stewart on Mama Mancini’s Meatballs. I’m so excited to try out your grandmother’s meatball recipe.
I was also hoping that it might be possible for me to purchase your recipe book. My husband and his twin brother were adopted at birth 54 years ago. I did a family search 5 years ago and found his birth family. We always suspected he was a different nationality, well we learned he and his brother are Italian. His aunt unfortunately did not write down any of the recipes that her mother (their grandmother) had, only going from memory. Their sister has a few memorized but keep’s them as a family secret. I have only 1 recipe that their birth mother made.
I’d dearly love to acquire many more tried and true Italian recipes to use and pass on to our children when the time comes. I’d love for them to remember my cooking the same way you remember your grandmother’s cooking.”
Thank you so much,

A Fan from Rahway
March 15th, 2010“Hi Daniel-
Just had to tell you that last week (day after Thanksgiving)…I had the WORST craving for Mama Mancini meatballs. While everyone around me was indulging in turkey and trimmings, I ran out to ShopRite (Clark, NJ) and purchased my favorite WHITE box with the most delicious 6 meatballs inside. I enjoyed a bowl of angelhair, your gravy and 2 meatballs. YUM!!!
Just wanted to “thank you” as well as congratulate you on your awesome success. I truly hope you BLOW UP in the food industry. (Blow up, meaning do well, of course). Lots of love.”

Delighted with the Meatballs
March 15th, 2010“Dear Dan,
We recently purchased your product at the Shopright store,in Gillette, NJ. after sampling it during a promotional exhibit.
My husband and I liked it very much as it matched my own meatball recipe very closely. Being Italian we are very fussy about buying store made meatballs and sauce most do not meet the test. We purchased several boxes and informed a number of our friends about how delighted we were with your product. We are considering purchasing some boxes to give to our grandchildren who are in college and would enjoy this home delight.”

Shh! Better than My Girlfriend's
March 15th, 2010Hi there!
“Normally I would not take the time to stop and write to someone about their product, unless it was a bad experience. I make an exception now. I am a meatball lover and for many years, have tried every brand of frozen ones that I have come across. The results have been disappointing. That is, until I tried yours! These are the best that I have ever had, sans the ones that an old girlfriend made from scratch many years ago! She would never give me the recipe. Your meatballs are better than most chefs could create and when thawed, you would not know they were ever frozen. I purchased them at a local Super Fresh store where Ido not usually shop. I would recommend that you try and have them carried at the Giant stores, as the large one in New Hope, PA 18938, does the most business in our area. They are a large chain and could provide a good distribution channel for you. If your secret gets out, you are liable to find a shortage occurring! Again, thank you for coming up with and sharing the meatballs with others. Have a tasty day!!”
Sincerely,
Jeff
A Special Trip for MamaMancini's
March 15th, 2010“Hi Daniel,
I recently purchased a package of six meatballs and Sunday sauce at a retail store, and I was amazed how great the product is. I never expected a frozen product to be that good. Unfortunately I don’t remember where I purchased it. I believe it was Shop Rite, which is about 40 minutes from my home. I don’t go there very often, but I plan to make a special trip there just to buy your product. … Thank you.”
