Mama Mancini’s Meatball Pizza

Mama Mancini's Meatball PizzaOnce you make this meatball pizza you might not order in again. This pizza comes together in minutes and it’s absolutely delicious and your not waiting for the delivery person to bring that cold pizza!
You’ll need:
  • 2 fully thawed meatballs sliced thin
  • 6 ounces of fully thawed sauce
  • 1 12″-14″ pizza shell
  • 6 ounces of sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tbs grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • Fresh basil chopped (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Pre heat your oven to 450 degrees
  2. Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and put the pizza shell on it OR if you have a pizza stone, heat it for 30 minutes at 450 degrees and bake the pizza on the stone
  3. Brush the olive oil on your pizza shell
  4. Spread the sauce evenly over the shell
  5. Top with the mozzarella
  6. Place the sliced meatballs over the pizza
  7. Sprinkle the grated cheese over the pizza
  8. Finish with the basil, if using
  9. Bake on the top rack for 12-15 minutes depending on your liking
  10. Remove the pizza to a cutting board
  11. Allow the pizza to cool for 5 minutes, cut and serve.

 

You can use fresh pizza dough instead of a pre made shell. Once your dough is ready to use, form your 14″ pizza and follow the above preparation instructions and bake your pizza in the 450 degree oven on the parchment paper of pizza stone, till done.
