Potatoes on the Grill

Potatoes on the GrillFirst of all I am a French Fry maniac, I could eat them every day of the week! Here is my recipe for Grilling the Potato and let me tell you them come out great!

 

You’ll need:

  • Russet potatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil

 

Directions:

  1. Slice the potatoes into thin slices 1/4″-1/2″ thick
  2. Place the slices in a large bowl of cold salted water for at least 15 min (30 would be better this will remove some of the starch on the potatoes)
  3. Rinse them under cold water and lay them out on paper or kitchen towels and dry them
  4. Get your grill hot
  5. Brush a little olive oil on both sides of the potatoes and add some salt, pepper, or any spice or herb you like and then grill them
  6. You’ll want to turn them when they are completely browned and done and then do the same to the other side

 

If I added another flavor it would be some cayenne pepper… just saying.
