With Mother’s Day upon us, MamaMancini’s Meatballs tell the story of the love of a boy for his grandma’s cooking. Daniel Mancini left a 30-year career in the fashion industry to start MamaMancini’s, using Grandma Anna’s recipe that he so enjoyed growing up in Brooklyn.

In 2007, he started with a few outlets in New Jersey. The product is now sold at more than 12,000 stores, including Publix, Whole Foods and Costco.

The photogenic meatballs have been featured in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal, as well as USA Today. Mancini has appeared on the “Today Show,” “The Daily Buzz” and “The Martha Stewart Show,” among others.

Mancini’s meatballs are preservative-free, and you can pronounce every ingredient in them. They are made with ground meat, breadcrumbs, pecorino Romano cheese, whole eggs, onion, parsley, salt and pepper. Available in beef, chicken, pork and turkey, the meatballs are pre-packaged in sauce and just need heating.
