Cast Iron Skillet Turkey Burgers Recipe

You’ll need:

  • 1 lb of ground turkey- I use all-white meat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning the patties
  • Olive oil

 

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Form the burgers and season with salt and pepper, brush olive oil on them.
  3. Preheat a cast iron skillet for 5 minutes on a high heat, then add the burgers and turn the heat to medium.
  4. Let them cook for 5 minutes before flipping. Don’t touch them during the 5 minutes.
  5. When both sides are cooked, remove from pan.
  6. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings or just by themselves with a fresh salad.
