Rao’s frozen meatballs come close, but for the price? No. Mama Mancini meatballs are the closest you’re going to get to homemade. I absolutely LOVE these meatballs. I find that the sauce is a pretty good amount to mix over about 1/2 lb of spaghetti. Sometimes I’ll make meatball heroes. I am not sure yet if I am able to buy the sauce separately. It looks like you can only buy it in bulk, but I will look again cause it’s that good! I don’t understand a few of the reviews I’ve seen on other sites. I can’t give enough stars because it’s off the chart. All I can say is if someone really wasn’t crazy about these meatballs & sauce, try again.
